Who's this trip for?
CCRA members who have clients who enjoy an educational tour, which explores a very unique area in Tuscany known as Maremma and some of Italy's finest hot-springs. In addition to the lesser-well known places in Tuscany, we also explore the incredible coastline there as well as Livorno, Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Bologna and the incredible republic of San Marino.

October 22, 2016 | Rome
Benvenuti! Your tour begins in Rome at the Ludovisi Palace Hotel at 9 AM.From here we are going to head northwest up the coast of Italy into the Maremma area in the region of Tuscany. We will be staying at a very unique property here in this estate place known as La Parrina. This is a property unique in all of Italy and the Tuscan region because they are producing not only some of the best wines in the region, but also their own very unique cheese, olive oil, meat, jams and jellies, pastries, fruits and vegetables of all varieties - which is beautifully paired with the wines produced here.
Needless to say, this makes a great place to experience tasting some local prosciutto, cheese and a few different wines for a light lunch and be taken by Massimiliano on a tour of the estate in the afternoon.

October 23, 2016 | The Tuscan Coast
Today is dedicated to experiencing one of the most incredible coast lines in Tuscany which very few people know about. Much like the Italian Riviera, this part of the Tuscan coast is kept relatively hidden from the rest of the world, but it is a true treasure to behold. Many beautiful towns dot the coast and today will be a day filled with wonderful photo opportunities and a hotel inspection.Return to the Parrina Estate to relax a while and later having a wonderful dinner all together with overnight there.

October 24, 2016 | Saturnia Spa Resort
After a leisurely breakfast this morning we are going to start our journey with stopping at the "Giardino dei Tarocchi" which is a fascinating garden. From here, we will be continuing to the Saturnia natural hot-springs famous and known all over the world for the beautiful Kool-Aid blue waters that create an incredible naturally warm hot-spring and waterfall.There will be time today to experience various treatments at the Saturnia resort one of Italy's finest spa facilities and eat something at the spa resort.
Dinner this evening in a beautiful Tuscan town. Overnight at the spa.
October 25, 2016 | Saturnia to Livorno to Pisa with arrival in Borgo Giusto
After buffet breakfast this morning we will depart Saturnia to go visit the waterfall which is located close by the hotel and then head up Italy's coast to the town of Livorno which is a very popular port located in Tuscany where many of the major cruise ships come into and it is interesting to see this town as it has an interesting Jewish history which we will get a chance to learn about before heading to Pisa to see the leaning tower.In the early afternoon we will head to the beautiful town of Lucca. This evening we will have a welcome dinner in Borgo a Mozzano at the village of Borgo Giusto to enjoy this beautiful historic place by foot.

October 26, 2016 | The Gorgeous Villas of Lucca & Down Town with Cooking lesson
We will experience some of the most beautiful villas with gardens in Tuscany that surround Lucca.Prior to lunch we will enjoy a cooking class at a property that is known for some tremendous culinary traditions and in the afternoon you will have a walking tour of down town Lucca. Dinner this evening is recommended to two of the most well-known restaurants in Lucca "La Buca di Sant' Antonio" and "L' Ulivo".
Return to Borgo Giusto for an overnight there.
October 27, 2016 | Bologna & Emilia Romagna's Finest Hot Springs
Today we will head from Lucca into the region of Emilia Romagna stopping en-route in Bologna. In Bologna we will have time to explore the city and stop for lunch.From here, we will proceed en-route to the Terme della Fratta spa resort. Enjoy the afternoon here at leisure and experience the spa facilities. In the evening dinner at the hotel and some piano bar with the Pop star Giò Patti singing.

October 28, 2016 | San Marino - A Country within a Country
This morning after an exquisite breakfast we head to the beautiful town of San Marino to experience this very unique republic located. Here you will have a chance to purchase items for a very good deal. After lunch we will head back to the hotel to enjoy more treatments and have dinner at one of the most interesting wineries that you have never visited and seen and that will impress you for its particularity.Overnight at the Grand Hotel Terme della Fratta
October 29, 2016 | On the way to Rome
Today on the way back to Rome we will experience the town of Bagno di Romagna and do an inspection of the Grand Hotel Terme Roseo which is a beautiful hotel located in the centre of town also with its own unique thermal springs and the magical forest populated by the gnomes.After lunch we will begin our journey back to Rome airport, train station and hotels.
