Makaya is the creative genius behind Events Chick, a company laser-focused on crafting memorable weddings and honeymoons. Starting her career in the world of weddings as a planning assistant, Makaya quickly learned the ins and outs by being the ultimate support to the lead planner. This hands-on role fueled her pursuit to bring events to life that are trend-setting and extraordinary.
Naturally, her interests blossomed to include not only honeymoons but also babymoons and unique corporate events. This newfound passion paved the way for her to co-own Events Chick, a business dedicated to weddings, honeymoons, and grand events abroad.
Makaya carries significant credentials, including being a Certified Specialist for Sandals/Beaches resorts. Her rich travel repertoire across the world makes the perfect guide in finding dream venues and locations.
When she’s not weaving magic into her clients’ occasions, Makaya treasures quality moments with her family.
