Meet Your Chapter Director, Paul Hardersen

Originating from Davenport, Iowa, but one not long to stay in the Midwest, Paul has a diverse background in travel, college-level teaching and research, and service. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1983-1988 and sailed from Norfolk, Virginia to Singapore and back. He then went to college at Iowa State University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has earned four degrees thus far, including a BA in Political Science and a BS/MS/PhD in geology and planetary science. He is also currently pursuing a Master’s of Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island. In addition, he is the founder and owner of Seadog Travels, an ocean-themed travel company and tour agency in Tucson, Arizona. In his scant free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their cat, Q, as well as cooking, baking, reading, and doing what he can to make the world a better place for everyone.

As the new Chapter Director for Arizona, I am excited to assist all the members to reach their full potential with their agencies in the travel business. I have a love of learning and always challenge myself to reach new goals. I am excited to help the Arizona Chapter members reach their professional goals and connect them with suppliers to help grow relationships in our area. The SKY is the limit!
