The Castello di Velona Resort, Thermal SPA & Winery, located on a hill overlooking the Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a restored castle dating back to the 11th century. Located 1 h45 min. from Florence and just 8 km from Montalcino, dominates the Val D’Orcia, with its typical landscape of olive trees and vineyards, which produce the famous Brunello di Montalcino.
