Absolutely. That’s one of the key benefits of TRUE. Once you’re registered with suppliers using your TRUE Code, commissions are paid directly to you or your agency, not through a host or third party.
9. How do I explain what a TRUE Code is to clients or suppliers who ask?
You can explain that the TRUE Code is an industry-recognized accreditation issued by CCRA that identifies you as a legitimate, independent travel advisor. It verifies your business credentials and allows you to work directly with travel suppliers worldwide.

Once your completed application and required documentation are submitted and approved, your TRUE Code is typically issued within 5 to 7 business days.

Requirements vary by location. Some U.S. states and international regions require travel sellers to hold a business license, E&O (Errors & Omissions) insurance, or seller of travel registration. TRUE does not issue legal or licensing advice, but we can point you to resources to ensure compliance in your area.
17. Can I use the TRUE Code to receive commission payments directly?
Yes. One of TRUE’s major benefits is the ability to receive commissions directly from suppliers—without intermediaries or third-party fees.
18. How do I list my business with suppliers once I receive my TRUE Code?
Once accredited, you’ll receive your TRUE Code and a welcome kit. You can then register with suppliers by providing your TRUE Code and business details. Most suppliers have dedicated portals or registration forms for accredited advisors.
19. What is the annual cost of the TRUE accreditation, and what does it include?
TRUE accreditation is $399 per year. This includes your unique TRUE Code, access to the CCRA supplier directory, marketing and business tools, invitations, and exclusive industry offers through CCRA. TRUE annual renewal is $375.
20. What happens if I decide to cancel or not renew my TRUE accreditation?
If you cancel or do not renew, your TRUE Code will become inactive, and suppliers may remove your access or commission eligibility. You’ll also lose access to CCRA benefits and resources.
