India truly holds a special place in my heart. I could go on and on about why I love it so much, but we would be here forever! Here is a brief intro to me and what we would experience on our Fam with CCRA to Northern India.
I came to America in my teens with my parents to Philadelphia and I now live in Southern New Jersey. In my late teens and early twenties, I went back to Southern India where I came from quite often (mostly so my parents could arrange a marriage for me….which did not happen!). I ended up marrying a non-Indian person in the US! I have 2 kids and 2 grandkids, retired from a corporate job and started my own TRUE agency and love mentoring and helping new CCRA agents!
As a travel agent you know how exciting it is when you get to share your insider tips and firsthand knowledge with travelers going somewhere for the first time. Travelling to India for the first time can be a major culture shock. The country is huge with many different languages, cultures and religions. We are lucky in the fact that most Indians speak English. There are many ways of seeing India, the Classics, Religious sites, Mughal sites, Beaches and Waterways, Wildlife encounters, Trekking & Mountains or Spiritial India. We at CCRA have combined Classics and Wildlife encounters to get a taste of India. Some of the highlights are:
- Discover Old and New Delhi and their many highlights
- Visit the incredible Taj Mahal at sunrise
- Explore Ranthambore National Park in search of Royal Bengal Tiger
- Tour the famed ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur
Hope you will join me to experience a small piece of this beautiful country!
